Two years ago her son gave her an iPad for her birthday and introduced her to her first painting app. since that time her life has become a whirlwind of activity, both as an artist and educator dedicated to emowering others to use their iPads for maximum creativity.
Caroline is partnered with sumit Vishwakarma, a tech visionary who is well known in the field of mobile art. Together they formed the Mobile Art Academy. Their new start-up made headlines last year after partnering with the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto and holding the first annual digital mobile art exhibit featuring mobile art from around the world, juried by experts and widely covered in the local press.
Caroline leads the group’s objective to deliver high quality instruction in mobile art and teaches the subject throughout the Peninsula, with regular classes and workshops at the Pacific Art League as well as Menlo Parks & Recreation Department in addition to teaching iPad in local schools, along with adult workshops and classes at Filoli and Vi Living in Palo Alto. she is in wide demand and known for her ability to empower individuals of any age to use their iPads for maximum creativity.
Caroline recently partnered with Coach Art to bring iPad art to children suffering from long term illness, having herself been hospitalized as a youngster and isolated from her peers for a year while recovering from Tuberculosis. “Art was my therapy and life line,” she explained, “and so it makes sense to give back any way i can through Coach Art’s vital program.”
